Sarah Majid is a junior at Lexington High School, developing her multifaceted engagement in literature, visual arts, and community leadership. Sarah's early passion for storytelling has evolved into a critical exploration of cultural narratives, particularly focusing on the representation of South Asian identities in American literature and media.

Her artistic pursuits complement her literary interests; through painting and mixed media, she delves into themes such as the South Asian immigrant experience. As a leader of the Mural Club, Sarah collaborates on projects that enhance community spaces with meaningful artwork. Additionally, as the Layout Editor for the school's Folio Club, she merges her artistic drive with editorial skills to curate publications.

Sarah's leadership extends to her role as President of the Lexington High School Muslim Student Association, where she fosters an inclusive environment and promotes cultural awareness. She also serves as a Senate Member for the South Asian Student Association, amplifying diverse voices and facilitating cross-cultural dialogues within the school community. Her passion for debate is demonstrated through her participation as a varsity member in the school's Mock Trial Team.

In recognition of her commitment to interfaith dialogue and social cohesion, Sarah was selected as a 2024–2025 Dignity Project Fellow at the Miller Center for Interreligious Learning & Leadership of Hebrew College. This fellowship trains outstanding high school students from Greater Boston to serve as interreligious and cross-cultural leaders, equipping them to engage the diversity of society with thoughtfulness, skill, and care.
